Probably not that much room in there, Ike. Try for a nice lab job.

I'm guessing it gets pretty hot in there too.

After reading about the theoretical threat this technology might pose, I'm convinced it's safe. If we were truly on the verge of creating technology that could accidentally set off a chain reaction that would destroy the universe, surely the alien life forms monitoring our technological advances would have obliterated us by now.

The only positive thing is that if this all goes so wrong, we won't have too much time to worry about it.

Physics scares me more than the terrorists.

I spent Friday night hanging out with a bunch of Physics grad students.

We should all be scared.

Very scared.

There are only two things in life that are better than a friday night spent in the company of physics grad students and copious amounts of beer.

This is an ongoing program so you may submit suggestions to [email protected].

LIFEBOAT FOUNDATION ParticleAcceleratorShield
By the Lifeboat Foundation Scientific Advisory Board.

OVERVIEW

Our goal is to prevent, and also make plans on surviving when possible, particle accelerator mishaps including quantum vacuum collapse, mining the quantum vacuum, formation of a stable stranglet, and the creation of artificial mini-black holes

You suppose that's how OU4Life got his hole in one?

Oh really? Where's my Infinite Improbablility Generator?

At least give me a damned SEP field generator. I could make good use outta one of those.
