I can't remember four Big 12 teams playing against the Pac-10 in one weekend.

I'm predicting that the Big 12 goes 2-2 this weekend with both OU and Baylor winning on the road.

Anyway, I'm betting that the Big 12 has a sizeable fanbase show up for these road games.

Pick the winners.

Oklahoma at Oregon
Baylor at Washinton State (Seattle)
Arizona State at Colorado
Nebraska at USC

OU beats UO by 10
WSU drills Baylor
ASU drills Col
USC drills Neb (by 4 TD's) and Callahan calls th USC fans f$%&ing hillbillies

We need to come through against Oregon to keep from going 0-4 in these games.

I think Baylor might make a game out of it with Wazzu. After all, it is the Pac-10. Beyond USC, there isn't a whole lot to get excited about.

Colorado is this year's Most Embarrassing Team of the Big 12 :( I hope they turn it around for the conference's sake.

Also, where will the USC Nebraska game be played? That will make all the difference in the world. If it's in LA, forget it.

Game is in SoCal. It will be a whipping.

Okay, so here are my picks:

OU beats UO by 2 TDs
Baylor wins in a tight OT battle.

Wow, we aren't giving Oregon enough credit apparently.

Copied from another thread:

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think that the Big 12 goes 1-3 against the Pac-10 with Baylor being the only win. It know it sucks, but I here's my thinking:

Nebraska is looking good, but still not good enough to knock of USC on their home turf. I think it will be pretty high scoring

38-28 USC

Colorado may be the worst team in the conference. No way they knock off ASU.

24-7 ASU

Oklahoma is getting better, but they have still shown signs of struggle. I think they have the best shot of these 3, but not enough for me to pick them to win.

28-24 Oregon

Baylor looked great against a horrible team, but WSU went 4-7 last year and its too early to tell how much better they are.

27-17 Baylor

I really think Oregon wins by a TD. I just wanted to be optimistic.

Because:
1. Autzen Stadium is one of the harder places to play
2. OUr secondary has the potential to get beat
3. OUr tackling has been poor
4. ENA still needs to stop air mailing folks on the deeper passes.
5. The Ducks will be wearing some God awful uniform in efforts to distract the Sooners.

The national pundits will be dookeying all over the Big XII if we go ZIP for 4 against the Mighty Pac 10.

True, Lid...PAC 10 has historically had their clock cleaned east of Colorado early in the year. Even USC has had a struggle in same situation (VT, 2003). Add that WAZZU, Washington, Cal and Beaver variation of OSU have already been cracked thus far this year, and its a no-win situation for the conference. That being said, the Big 12 could go 4-0 and prove nothing. I just hope we can pull a W and come home, forget the rest of 'em.

too many road games... anybody know if SC returns the favor to lincoln? wazzu and baylor home and home?

I never believed the Peace-10 could dominate the Big XII until today. (Well actualy the 2004 championship game 19-55)

I could give a damn about the other three games. We need the Sooners to come up with a "W"

I would give ANYTHING to see Nebraska beat the crap out of USC.. doubt it will happen, But hey.. Miracles happen right?

Baylor wins by a FG or less in regulation.
Oklahoma over Oregon.
Arizona State over Colorado.
God, how I'd love to see Nebraska break the condoms but I think they'll lose it.

BU and OU make up the winning part of 2-2

OU in a squeaker.

Baylor will need a lot of luck.

Nebraska gets steamrolled.

Pray for Colorado.

I'm hoping for 2-2 but 1-3 is more like it....0-4 is very possible.

Yeah Lukin, USC at Nebraska on Sept 15, 2007.

Edited to add: Washington State at Baylor on Sept 13, 2008

This is the worst the Big 12 has been in a long time.

USC is overrated...

3-1
With Colorado going 56-0 in their loss....

What color do the fans usually wear on the road... more specifically, in eugene this weekend?

Well, if we go 0-4 there might be a good reason. For starters, USC at home would beat any Big 12 team right now. That's just how it is right now.

Secondly, Colorado and Baylor might be the two worst teams in the Big 12. So that's the bottom of the barrel.

Next to USC, the toughest place to play in the Pac 10 is at Oregon.

So, yes...the Big 12 could very easily go 0-4 this week and it will be embarrassing if it happens.

Hmmm, I could see us going 0-4, but if OU comes to play then we might go 1-3.

If we're 1-3 but ours is the W, that's fine by me. If Nebraska even shows up and keeps it within 10, that will be gravy. The same goes for Baylor and Colorado.

Geez, poor Colorado. They make me sad in my pants.

Yeah, I hope they turn it around, too. I kinda liked OSU being the pit of the BIG 12...

Sorry, it's not happening this season. Though I'll freely admit that last season we were officially Baylor.

Is anybody else impressed with Baylors NC schedule this year.

Washington State

With the exception of NWS, these aren't cream puffs. It's comparable to OU's and much better than OSU's. If they can start the season 3-1 they could really make some noise in the big 12.

I went to watch Baylor play TCU and NWS. They actually beat the Frogs statistically. The 4th qtr did them in. The Bears could actually be 3-1 starting Big XII play.
