I got an email from my mom early this morning. She had been sending us emails last week about a guy she works with. He and his wife had a baby about 2 weeks ago and the baby (Owen) had some sort of problem with his heart. They had to operate on him and they said the operation went great but they still had to leave him in ICU. These are the emails that were forwarded to me this morning:
Little Baby Owen did not make it through this tough journey. Please keep
Steve Nelson and his family in your thoughts. Thanks.
God had a greater purpose with Owen's life. He has brought thousands
together for prayer. He has brought my entire family to there knees.
Although sometimes its hard for us to see, God has a bigger perspective.
Tonight God called Owen to be with Him. I can't imagine going through this
without the comfort of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Baby Owen is an example of how short life can be. None of us are
guarenteed tomorrow. I urge all that read this to seek a personal
relationship with Christ. Owen was here on earth for 11 days and impacted
thousands of lifes. My brothers and sisters in Christ, what are we doing?
Let us wake up and share the gospel.
Please continue to pray for my brother Steve and sister Amy. They have a
long jurney ahead still.
And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ,
after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make
you strong, firm and steadfast. To Him be the power for ever and ever.

I can't imagine what this family is going through. I don't know what I would do if I were in their shoes. Please keep them in your thoughts.
