View Full Version : What's with the single-back set?

Is it just me or does it seem like AD is never really able to make any significant yards out of the single back set? I believe all his long runs have come out of the I.

I imagine Wilson is either trying to set things up for later out of that formation or just isn't ready to give up on it yet.

I'd also like to see more passing out of the I formation. I'm sure we will.

Over all I think Wilson has done a pretty good job with the offense so far.

Just you. I remember several good runs out of single-back sets yesterday.

clapp was injured, so i imagine thats why we ran ace more often

How about that five-wide with Finley and Gresham on the same side. Talk about a sub-6' cornerback's nightmare.

that set is going to be really pretty against Texas short DB's whether they line up in zone or man. Especially if ENA continues to learn how to throw those lobs with a feather touch . . .

I'm REALLY looking forward to Gresham's first leaping TD.
