I'm to lazy to look them up but I'm thinking his overall stats aren't really all that bad. I'm also thinking that some of the ad stats aren't his fault, like passes right in the hands that are dropped or the int's that happen because he gets smacked as he throws. Anyway, I just wonder how his stats are compared to other qb's out there that are considered so good?

Also, I have to wonder some if people are thinking he's not that good because of some of the missed oportunities. In other words the reciever may be wide open and he misses the throw so it makes him look really bad but the stats actually show something a bit different?
(no I'm not drunk, just rambling out loud);)

274 yards through the air today. 21 of 33, one interception.

Granted, uDub has the worst pass defense in the history of ever, but decent enough.

This is very impressive.

What makes me sick is thinking about how nice his stats would have been if he hadn't overthown at least two sure deep touchdown passes, plus a few 20 yard endzone passes.

Don't get me wrong, I think he's playing pretty well, but oy! the misses still hurt to watch.

Ok, but compare ENA's play in two games to the way that the idiot played in his first two games. From last week to this week, ENA has improved tremendously. He still needs to work on the deep ball, but finally hit one or two today. Kinda makes me wonder what would have happened if we had stuck with him last year.

Every QB misses from time to time. Quinn misses. T Smith misses. JWhite missed. They all miss on occasion. And they all have receiver drops too.

What I wish he would do is "feel" that backside pressure a little better. It's causing us too many turnovers. Or, the OLine could stop that backside pressure - that would work to. :)

They aren't as bad as ESPN and Deano say.

I like what I'm seeing from ENA. I think he is doing exactly what he needs to be doing right now, which is beating defenses when they stack up on AD. He's looking far more comfortable back there than he did against TCU last year, and way more comfortable than that dumbass ever did, and I think thats allowing him to make some good reads.

Granted, he's not throwing with Heupel-like accuracy, but it's looking to me like he's getting back and making good reads and putting the ball close enough most of the time. I think he'll be just fine this year.

i said it in another thread today--if everyone on the team was playing as well as ENA, we'd be a better team. he is NOT a weak link on this team.

he deserves serious respek.
