I believe Fulmer offered a free life supply of doughnuts if he gave the game away. It was an offer he couldnt refuse, and it only took out a third of Fulmers supply.

I just got back from this game in Knoxville. Air Force caught the VOLS at the right time (sandwiched between Cal and Florida on the schedule). DeBerry called a helluva game and the USAF offense executes the option beautifully.
His call to go for 2 was right out of the coach cliche' book (go for the win on the road and the tie at home).

Phat Fil on the other hand, was on autopilot the whole 2nd half. No reason Tennessee should have been throwing the ball with 2:00 left on the USAF 40 or so. Ainge looked good until that play (INT).

Robert Meachem was a stud again tonight.

Tennessee's special teams were solid, but USAF's kicker and punter were both horrible and cost them precious field position all night. I didn't expect it to be THAT good of a game, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Tennessee had 7 possessions.
4 TDs, 1 FG, 1 INT, and ran out the clock at the end.
Time of possession and total yards were very close.
