Kirk Herbstreit said OU has no passing game so Adrian Peterson can't win the Heisman. What a dumbass.

He also said AD won't get enough yards. He has 300 rushing yards so far, meaning he is on pace to get 1800. He has 3 rushing TDs, meaning he is on pace for 18.

Those guys dont really watch the games. They see clips of them... Whatever, what they say means nothing.

but the computers don't watch any games at all! The National Title needs to be in the hands of reporters!

Yep... I mean how can they possibly watch all of the games on any given saturday. Alot of them have preconceived notions about each team, and unless they see something that suggests otherwise in those clips they see, then they're going to think what they want. Most of them aren't much more than reporters.

AD has no chance to win the Heisman. The media feels like they got burned by Jason White. We'll have to wait for a generation of babbling dip****s to die before another Oklahoma player will win.

Miami vs. Cal for the national title...just ask Corso and Herbie!

I was kinda surprised to hear him say that. He usually seems to be fairly unbiased and reasonable, but that statement showed some ignorance on his part.

AD will not win the Heisman. The media wants to give it to Quinn right now. If Quinn doesn't win it Troy Smith will. AD is going to get screwd this year.

Was that statement made before or after the game?

Herbie is usually pretty fair. I'll let him slide on this one.

No passing game, huh?Let us look at this issue for a minute. Not having the exact stats but by my count ENA is 35 of 57 passing for around 504 yards and 4 tds .I'm no Herbie but to me that comes out to about 61% completions,252 yards a game and 2 TDs a game.Exactly what qualifies as a passing game in MR BUCKEYE'S mind?

I used to like him, but now he is controlled by the "espn machine" so all comments are taken with this in mind.

Last time I checked that would be a pretty good season. Herbie probably had his head so far up :mack:'s a** he couldn't watch the game today.

His game tapes got mixed up and he had just watched last year OU vs Tulsa game. 2nd half only.;)

Hurricanes, Huskies.... same difference.
