Here's an interesting fact about freshman QB's and their chances of a national championship.....this is from a cbs sportsline article...

"Since freshmen became eligible in 1972, exactly one true freshman has led a team to a national title. Oklahoma's Jamelle Holieway ran the team after Troy Aikman went down early with a broken leg. Miami's Bernie Kosar was a redshirt freshman when the Hurricanes won their first title in 1983.

That's it. Thirty-three years, 40 national titles won during that span, two freshmen. "

I agree completely....it's just very difficult for a freshman to pick things up that quickly....pretty cool that we have the only true frosh though. And I like the fact that history is NOT on the whorns side this year...
