in 2000, nebraska was #1 and we were #2 in the BCS rankings. in 2001, we were #1 and nebraska was #2 in the BCS when we lost to them in lincoln. why doesn't anyone recognize the BCS rankings #1 vs #2 since they are the only rankings that really count?

i was thinking the same thing when they began over-hyping this weekend.

Because by that logic USC didn't win the NC in 2003. Can't have that.

Man, I bawled like a baby after we lost that game in 1981 to USC. I paced 5 miles behind the couch as a ten year old, living on every play. How does a team fumble the ball 10 times on the road at the number two team in the country's house and not even lose the game until 2 seconds remain? That game was the end of that season for us...we tripped our way to a 7-4-1 finish, tying Iowa State and Donnie Duncan at home, losing to Texas, Nebraska and Missouri and beating Houston in the Sun Bowl.

I think they are mad that the BCS didn't fold when the AP took its ball and went home. How dare they ignore what the morons in suits say. Doesn't the NCAA know that the sportscasters are on tv and in the newspaper. Everyone knows that if you are on tv or in the newspaper you must know more than the rest of us combined?
