Texas isn't going to win this one. But tOSU won't score as much as they should with that offense.

Texas 14 - tOSU 28 but its close until tOSU puts em away in the fourth quarter.

texas - 17

osu forces texas to throw and McCoy in turn forces a few balls leading to a couple of turnovers that make the difference

I have been at both www.bucknuts.com and www.hornfans.com in the last hour. Let me say I have not seen such a dillusional fanbase in all my years, and both sides don't believe the other wins.

Who could blame them I guess, but even here we have our non-sunshine pumping crowd. The hornfans however are the most dilluded of the two. They believe Colt McCoy is the second coming, they believe they will throw all over the field. They are wrong.

Offense - Ohio St. (in a big big way)
Defense - Texas (by a tiny margin)
Special Teams - Ohio St. (Ginn is almost as good as Reggie Smith ;))

A short field and a stout offense will give Ohio St. 5 scores, while Texas is switching between QB's trying to get something rolling.

Ohio St. - 31
Texas - 10

I think the defenses will decide this game. Texass has the athletes on D to cover down on Ginn and Smith, regardless of the status of their weed smoking, gun-toting CB. McCoy isn't good enough to continue making bad decisions and not pay for them in some way. UNT sucks. tosu doesn't have the superstars they had on D, but they still have superstars on D. I think the whorns win at the point of attack on O with the run game late, and I think their D coupled with a DKR home crowd will be too much for the suckeyes.

saxet 17
tosu 14

Of course, I want saxet to win so we get to play #1 on 7 October, so I may be a little biased in my pick and could be forcing a square peg into a round hole. Could be tosu is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

One filthy whorn game scoreboard thread is quite enough, thank you.
