If you like red dirt country at all you should check this guy out. His songs are awesome, almost Jack Ingram awesome ;). I think Kenny Chesney cut one of his songs on KC's newest album.

Anyhoo, I'm listening to his CD that comes out next week and thought I'd tell you fine people to go out and buy it when it comes out next Tuesday.

This ain't garage band ****.

A couple of others I would recommend are Jason Boland and The Stragglers, and a Native American group called Indigenous (http://www.indigenousrocks.com/).

There's only one way to be sure: Have a Dallas poster say something and see if he wants to kick their *** for being a "whornlover". ;)

I figured if they were good enough to get Radney Foster(who is wildly underrated by the general public, btw) behind them, they were worth me checking out. It was a good I idea on my part.

Radney is awesome. More and more Nashville folks are cutting his songs. He's one of my favorite songwriters.

I know, I'm trying to figure out which songs on his new album will be huge hits for other people. Plus, the new Trent Summar album should be in my mailbox tomorrow and I got my Shooter Jennings live album today. It's been a good week for getting more country I like.

You've got a pretty wide taste in popular music to be diggin' on country and have Max Webster in your sig. I almost didn't recognize it, it's been so long since I've heard that record. (Well, that and I used to make a habit of killing brain cells about the time that was out, lol! :D )
