Travis County Sheriff Greg Hamilton said this afternoon that deputies did use Taser stun guns when arresting two University of Texas football players and a former player earlier this week following a traffic stop. Hamilton said he has reviewed the evidence and reports about the arrests and “I am comfortable that the actions taken were appropriate.”

tasering guys sleeping in the backseat of a car is always deemed appropriate. Maybe you guys need a refresher course.

let's make a rule that as long as someone appears to be sleeping, they can't be tasered when holding a gun.

that way when people with actual bad intent get stopped, they can play like they are asleep while holding their gun.

we can explain to the officer's two year old daughter sometime in the future why we made that rule.
