I swear, when the safety came up to him on the angle, AD hit another gear and was gone. You could literally see him speed up.

I've seen lots of replays of AD breaking away for a touchdown. Every time I wonder what he's looking at or thinking. If you watch, the guy is looking up in the stands, sometimes toward the score board. Occassionally, he'll even look at the guy trying to tackle him. I'd like to ask him just once, what are you looking at?

Maybe he's trying to calculate how much this run will earn him come draft time.

He could be looking at the jumbotron to see how close his pursuers are. Shaun Alexander does that.
