To add to the injuries, I cut my foot open pretty good at the lake on something sharp in the water. Thought i was ok tilll I got out and saw blood everywhere on the sand. :eek:

That's why I always wear shoes at the lake, creek, and river now, even though I never did growing up.

The worst creek/lake accidents I've seen included a guy dying when he jumped off Big Daddy, and two different girls being impaled by submerged tree branches in two different orifices after jumping off a rope swing.

And I'm leaving out various jetski and waterski accidents I've seen.
