I do not think the Big XII is in charge of scheduling....

I think pathetic is one team losing and another coming damn close too to said 1-AA teams.

Thing is, they'll make fun of us for OUr 24-17 game against a better than 2005 UAB team, while they score half a hundred on North Texas or Missouri State.

I just meant the schools in the Big 12.

Even Texas plays a 1aa team this year.

I think you could blame a lot of the scheduling on the increase to a 12 game schedule on such short notice. Teams had to scramble to find an extra opponent and so 1-AA opponents became very attractive to a lot of schools.

you could also blame some of it on the fact that KSU is in the big XII..

Last time I checked, North Texas played in the Sun Belt...not D-II. But, I get your drift. There really is no incentive to play anything except cupcakes during the non-con season. This part of the season is the worst stretch...closely followed by the stretch of bowls that occur 4 days after the conference championships with teams that barely have .500 seasons.
