That sucks. I'm sure he will land somewhere if they don't resign him to the practice squad.

Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports Chicago Bears FB J.D. Runnels (ankle) has been told by the team that he will probably be released when the team has to make its final cuts. Runnels was also told that he would be placed on the team's eight-man practice squad if he is released. However, if his ankle injury that sideline him in the team's last preseason game turns out to be serious, the Injured Reserve is also a possibility.

yah, he loves them so much that he has been contemplating cutting all the fullbacks on the team since they are going to be using more 2 TE sets. maybe JD as a TE?

Well either way, if he's waived and picked up by the Cowboys, I'll be a happy fan. :D
