if he can do that we will win a pant load of games this year. i don't see him breaking sanders record because i don't believe he'll be around for his sr. year. :(

2628 yards? That would be a monster year. He would get every heisman vote.

Correction: 1,090, although it probably won't matter much as far as what carry/game he breaks it on. (There was a adjustment in the Holiday Bowl that knocked his season total down to 1,104 from 1,108)

current NCAA records:
career - ron dayne - 7125 including bowl games, 6397 without bowl games

season - barry sanders - 2628, but I dont know if that includes the 88 holiday bowl

game - LaDanian Tomlinson - 406 yards (holy crap!!)

you gotta add about 220 yds to the BS total, for his bowl game.
it's about 2850.

about 237 yards per game.
