Like Oklahoma, UAB also has a solid running game. Seniors Corey White and Dan Burks combined for 975 yards and 11 touchdowns a year ago.

Is it me, or is that stat pretty weak

It's not weak when we were primarily a pass-oriented offense. Our team per carry average was 4.3 yards per carry. OU's team per carry average was 4.0. Some of you will try to give me the "apples and oranges" stuff, but I'm just saying... that's the basis of that statement. Career-wise, Dan Burks is 3rd in rushing all-time at UAB... Corey White is either 4th or 5th. 900+ yards is not all the impressive in and of itself, but you've got to look at the number of carries as well... not just the number of yards.
