Paul Thompson will start the year at QB for OKLAHOMA as the replacement for dismissed Rhett Bomar. But Peterson is reportedly anxious to get back to playing wideout for the Sooners, as his pro future is there. JC transfer Joey Halzle could eventually end up seeing action at QB for the Sooners.

I'm not sure Thompson has a pro future at WR with Halzle throwing to him. Just sayin'. Too many question marks this year. We will live and die off the PA pass and AD's running. /shhh Don't tell anyone this.

Maybe AD just wants to make sure he doesn't get hurt this year or maybe he just wants to show he really can catch passes. :twinkies:

You know, that point really isn't as valid as it seems to be (PT wanting to move back to WR for his pro career)...a couple of former QB's in the BigXII that never played WR are doing pretty decent right now as WR's in the NFL.
