Does anyone know if this will work?

You take one wireless router with one input and four outputs. Plug the incoming internet wire into the input. Run a wire from one of the outputs to the input on another wireless router. Will that second router have internet access? Anyone know this?

The two routers are a long way apart and assuming the signal will get that far, would this work?

most routers can be bridged also if the signal will reach, no cable needed.

most routers can be bridged also if the signal will reach, no cable needed.
The signal wouldn't reach. IT's a long way. I'm not sure the cable is going to work, but if they can be bridged like that, I'll give it a try. Thanks.

if the antenna can be removed, try a better one, they are for sale all over the innerweb. The stock ones are crap.

It should work with a CAT5 cable that is wired crossover, since it's going to "2 like devices". Meaning that you don't have to have a crossover cable when going from a modem to a router, you use a straight through cable. Since it's router to router the wire pairs have to be different.
