This thread started over at Recruiting......Since many of you don't go there I was encouraged to bring it here.

Who were the best Oklahoma High School QB's

Below is the list that was compiled over at Recruiting (excluding the guys who voted for themselves of course)

Jason White- Tuttle

Scott Tinsley - Putnam City - USC - NFL

Dean Blevins - Don't laugh I saw him play and he was darn good

The Gundys

Steve Davis

Bob Warmack

Eddie Crower

JC Watts

I am sure I have missed a hundred or so.........fire away

Not really sure about how good a QB he was...just always loved the name!

Graham Colton.:D I'm only kidding but he was my teamate for a year and led Heritage Hall to a state title his junior year.

Grovey and Aikman played against each other in the 89 Cotton Bowl

Anyone ever hear of Travis Hartfield out of Watonga, was a two time state champion and a usa today honorable mention all-american as a senior. Unfortunately went to the aggs and hurt his neck his soph year as a wr and had to quit

Dude kicked *** in high school. It took a mighty effort to warm up to him at OU because I hated him so much from when he was at Union (I went to Broken Arrow).

I think he could have been pretty good if Blake hadn't come along. If he'd gone to Tulsa or something where they ran a passing offense, he would have been better.

I saw him play in the '93 or '94 championship game against my alma mateur. He completely destroyed them.

I'm a PCN grad as well....1990....seems like a lifetime ago. I hope our boy turns out to be a great Sooner QB.

wasn't there an Oklahoma kid who went to Air Force to run the option in the late 80's maybe?
