In this time of kickoff anticipation, I thought I would do something proactive and put together a little "appetizer" for the upcoming season. Please keep in mind that my computer is older than me, and that I am in no way an LASooner. However, hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I did putting it together.

I've always thought certain ballads would work great with slo-mo highlight vids. This video, in particular was true greatness.
Does anyone remember the Switzer show in the late '80s when they used the Eagles "the long run."
and in the early 90's, CBS used GNR's "November Rain" for a Dallas Cowboys intro before the Thanksgiving game. Even though Dallas can suck it, it was well done.
Anyway, bravo. Still shaking and full of p*ss and vinegar from the Switzer quote and pretty much the whole damn video.

Outstanding video! The only other thing I would have added, would have been a highlight of the single biggest play of 2000 - the Torrance Marshall INT vs. A&M. Nevertheless, I've watched it four times now, for inspiration!

Believe me, I tried fitting that play (and several, several others) into the video, but it was just too long. When I tried chopping it down to try to make it fit, it just didn't do that play any justice. :(

Is there any chance at all that they could play this video on the jumbotron before the game? Maybe not as the official pre-game vid, but when there's still like 20 minutes left before kickoff, before the band comes out?

It was 1986 OU vs. Colorado in Boulder.
BSwitz started off saying "For the last 14 years, if we win today, we'll have one 11 Big 8 Conference Championships."
Then he went off on the Southwest Conference, talking about how texas had only won 2 SWC Championships in the last 10-12 years. Houston 3. aTm finally won one.
"Those people don't know what it is to be Champions. Oklahoma invented it"
It's PURE Greatness! Two years later in Boulder he had another classic pregame talk about Colorado wearing their black pants.
