Last year I favored Texadelphia. Cheap but decent food, quick service, not crowded, close to stadium, lots of big tvs.:pop:

the Library was always my favorite hangout, although probably not on a gameday. Gamedays, I preferred my house north of campus with the cable TV inside of a working refrigerator located on my front porch.

oh college......

Texadelphia is a whorn institution. A part of every nickel you spend there ends up in the pocket of someone wearing puke orange.

Hahaha...yeah, it was born in Austin...but, I can't help myself. I lived in Dallas for awhile and grew to love it. I'm with jdsooner...my wife and I try to hit Texadelphia for every game. We've even made a couple of test runs over the past month to get ready for this season.

Can't wait! Boomer Sooner!

That place is forever doomed, IMO. It's SO narrow that when any number of people go in there, it's the most uncomfortable place on campus corner.

The new hotness will be Logan's. It's nice, big, airy, cheap beer, lots of TVs. Check it out- you won't be disappointed if you like beer and football.

Speaking of cheap beer. Bisonwiches has the only beer specials on weekends. $1.25 drafts on Friday and $1.50 bottles on Saturday. (maybe the other way around)

Totally empty. On opening night, I walked right by and didn't even realize they had opened up. It's gotten a little more business, but no one is rushing out there.

I like Joe's Taverna. I may not be objective though. I go to the games with a buddy who used to Bar tend there. I think that I would like it anyway because it's laid back with a decent selection of beverages. If you are looking for a wide selection of food, this might not be your best bet but if you are more interested in liquid refresments, you could do worse.

After the game, I like to run over to Hide Out's Pizza. They have some good eats!

I've walked by there a couple of time with no one in there...but that doesn't mean there isn't later in the evening.

You people are all pretty much losers - with the exception of RacerX.

You're gonna go hang out in a smokey-assed joint, elbow deep in rednecks, drunks, *******s, college punks and pukes, and then pay for ****ty beer/food - when one block from campus corner there's a SF.com tailgate that's free. Some of you haven't learned jack in this life.

Of course this is in no way saying there won't be a few *******s at our tailgate too, but at least you don't have to pay to hang around them.

Not speaking for anyone else but I until I experience it this Saturday, I'm a little hesitant to take advantage of anyone elses beverages and food.

Is there a jar for donations? I'll be happy to drink you dry and eat until I almost explode if I feel like I paid for it. :D

In that case, let me ammend my previous post to "Of course there is the new and improved SonnerFans.com tailgate party. It's the most happening spot in the near vicinity of the game."

I've never been to that Hookah joint on Saturdays but have always wondered ...

The beer is expensive, but the smoke is excellente. He's let us bring in our own alcohol before ... not really a gameday environment, but the buzz is nice. ;)

I usually just pick up a few tallboys at campus market and lounge around. O'Connels is a close second.
