Ahhh how I harken back to the memories of Jamelle running the option to perfection, and running down hill . . . literally! I remember standing on one side of Owen Field, and looking across the field to the other team, and only being able to see them from the chest up! That crown got bulldozed FLAT like the Oklahoma plains, and put in that stuff they call "grass" . . . whatever!

Can you imagine AD and PT running the option down that crown on the carpet?!?

I'm afraid, that as fast as AD is, he'd be three rows up in the stands before he could turn North or South. Leave it flat.

Yes it is so you'll have to settle for Crown & Coke.

Option and wishbone are popular wishes among fans. It's just not realistic to hope for a full-option or an all-wishbone offense anymore. It's nice to see a good option in the red zone every now and then, but when you are pinned at your own five yard-line with less than two minutes left, you've got to do somethign more than nickle and dime--ing your way up the field.
