best way to increase wireless range

so now i am living in bfe for awhile and wondered how is the best way to gain range on a wireless... i get the connection to show up in the network but it will not connect.. weak signal...

ya know, I imagine there are ways to do so, but you may want to check into the legality of such ways...which would limit your options if just looking to buy something. I can easily imagine that the FCC has some kind of limits on the strength of a wireless router.


so if you can't find stronger ones, you could try to just place more of them around.
