I agree, it's bad. I think the anticipation for next week makes it worse.

waiting for golf, there's a tennis thing on and lots of action/music vid segments featuring Maria Sharapova's tennis panties. it's fairly unsubtle.

just to interject golfwise here: i'd really like to see Furyk win today....he's played really well over the last 4-6 weeks. and, nice to see Stewart Cink respond to being a Ryder Cup captains pick by contending/tied for the lead this week.

i'm sure Lanny and Shakespeare (err, i mean Nantz) are talking about this....but i have the TV muted.

The final round is being shown tape-delayed. I was wondering what was going on when I was on ESPN a bit ago and the leaders were on the back 9.

They don't seem to be showing tape delays of the FIBA World basketball championships.
Too bad becuase it looks like Coach K put the team concept back into USA basketball. This is the best US national team since the 1992 Dream Team.

yeah, to be honest i'm not following it that close....but there was about a 2 minute period where every other player missed makable putts and all of a sudden Eldrick had the lead.

Well, I DVR'd a couple of the ESPN Classic college football games they were showing yesterday, '93 BC-Notre Dame and '05 Louisville-W. Virginia, so that got me in the mood.
But yeah, the last Saturday before college football season is always the succ.
