I'm like entertaining some crazy notion of stopping by Anchorage.

The northern lights are definitely on my to-do list.

But, I imagine that Christmas time is like the busiest time of the year for those living up near the north pole.

So, maybe next summer.

Chuck: Anchorage is on about the same latitude as North Korea, I believe.

Thank you very much for the info, but I think I'd rather have a stop over in Anchorage. I'm assuming that you have snow at Christmas and possibly northern lights.

Not disputing that Anchorage is a better stop than Pyongyang. Just pointing out that Anchorage isn't THAT close to the Pole.

We do have snow at Christmas and the aurora are visible some nights, sure. Better view in Fairbanks, though.

No, I can't name any strippers. I imagine there's a Tiffani and a Dawn in there somewhere, though.
