But you have to remember, that's all OU did back then. If AD can run for 2500, in a passing offense, that says something. It'll be interesing to see, when his career here is over, a comparison between him and Barry and their "yards per rush" totals.

Better than Greg Pruitt? Whoa! Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Pruitt still holds the highest yards per carry in college of all time.

Barry is THE BEST RB I have EVER SEEN and as a lifelong SOONER FAN,and Cowpuke hater it pains me to say that.AD COULD have a season that puts him above Sanders BUT it will take around 3000 yards(Barry averaged 260 yards a game in getting His TROPHY).

AD will eclipse Barry's and Jim Brown's "best evar" status. :cool:

I believe Stoops has purposely not named AD as team captian to tilt his decision to stay for Senior year. ;)

Also, Demarco Murray may not eclipse Barry Sander's statistics but will errily remind us of Barry's running style. :eek:

Sanders set 34 ncaa records in 1988. even his brother rushed for over 1000 yds.
