I'm surprised that Houston is so far down the list. Every family restaurant here has a bar in it.

I'm not surprised at all about DFW being #27. Last time I was there, I had to drive 15 miles out of my way to find a liquor store. Stinking dry counties.

Houston has some great eats.
We hit Hugo's on Westheimer one night last week. Another good messican place across from the galleria also.

I'm surprised that New Orleans is only 24th. But I suspect it's ecause most of the heavy drinking here has usually been by tourists... prob'ly from Milwaukee.

Lack of Cordell renders that list futile.

Everyone in DFW knows you go to Addison to buy your alcohol. They do have a few good places to eat too.

Having lived in #2 and spent weekends in #1, I'd have to say the list is pretty accurate at the top.

*Hic*.

Lack of Cordell renders that list futile.
Cordell? they had a decent basketball squad in '82.
