Haven't had one in like 20 years so I don't even remember what the doctor does. I don't think I'll be getting Dr. Jellyfinger because my insurance won't pay it until I'm 45. But what other pleasures should I look forward to?

Just make sure that if you have your prostate checked that the doc doesn't have both his hands on your shoulders during the exam.

When I find that doctor, I am getting monthly checkups. That way, instead of using my own money at the tittay bar, my health insurance company can foot the bill for me getting some personal contact.

I know a few who are still in medical school. I'm a big fan of their checkups! :texan:

Probably too late to be of any help. Depends on your age. If you aren't old enough for the prostate exam, it's easy. Sometimes they'll do an EKG and chest x-ray. Listen to the heart and lungs, check the thyroid, look in the eyes ears mouth, etc. Draw blood. That's mostly it.

Have you had unprotected sex or gay sex? They may want to do a little extra checking if you have!:D

I haven't had a checkup since...well...ever.
I'm only 23(4), but I suspect I'm probably fine.

I hear thinking you're fine causes cancer. :(

Yeah, I'm diabetic but it wasn't discovered via a physical.

You do at least see a doctor for that.

Right?

Well, my dad has been watching/controlling my meds for the diabetes.
He's been prodding me into getting general bloodwork and a physical done, but I won't do it. I feel fine, and I detest doctors.

No offense to the good Doc, but I detest being poked and prodded around. To tell you how bad it is, I got hit by a car my soph. year at Baylor down in Austin pretty bad and couldn't walk. Ambulance showed up, but I refused to go to the hospital. I started worrying a bit about internal bleeding and stuff, but I figured that unless I have severed an arm or something then I'm fine.

Last year I was playing softball out in West Texas and I slid into 2nd base and broke my thumb. Hurt pretty bad and I almost passed out from teh pain, but I still refused to go to a doctor. To this day that thumb is like twice the size of my other thumb and aches.

You're in college. Time to start acting like a big boy and taking care of your health. Your current 'plan' is retarded.

I guess there's not an IQ test to get into Baylor?

You'll neg me for this one, but I did eventually go to the ER in Waco out of fear of internal bleeding. I was just bruised up really bad, but they gave me a script for pain meds that I never had filled. :D
