So, who should I take? I've got at least 48 hours to make my pick; our draft is at the stroke of midnight on Saturday morning.
Right now, I'm leaning toward taking LaDainian Tomlinson but I may favor Larry Johnson or even Peyton Manning.
Decisions, decisions....

Shaun Alexander. Only player in NFL history with 15+ TD in 5 straight seasons.
If you take a QB with the number 1 pick you will have your fantasy football ID revoked permanently.
Pick Manning.. either one.

go with LJ - apparently he has made strides in receiving ability
LT is working with a new QB, and was injured last year (bastardo)
Alexander lost hutchinson, and he got the $, so perhaps he is not as motivated
failing that, go for sebastian janikowski
pick a defense - maybe the redskins.

No one going out on a limb and suggesting Reggie Bush? I thought everyone was raving abou how he was making people look really slow in preseason games...

Alexander HAS to be the pick if I'm in the top spot. Larry Johnson is good, but he lost 2 good O-linemen, and possibly the best blocking fullback in the league...so don't think that won't have an effect on his stats. Portis is obviously hurt much more than they let on....no one else really makes sense in the top spot. Unless you are in a league that scores funny. In a pure points league I think you have to take a RB. LT is a great back, but I still think Alexander will put up more points.

Manning would be good in a QB yardage league.
