I have a friend who said he played for the sooners in 1986. His name is Scott Ramsey from Tulsa Union. He is a cool guy but the rosters I have show no one by that name?:confused:

Fake! Fake! How many women has he gooten with that line. Just kidding. Maybe he was on the practice squad.

Well, I am not familiar with that name. Was he a walk-on? Even walk-ons get listed, I think?

He showed me a scar on his knee from a surgery? Something about a mcl tear.

Yeah, I got's some swamp land in AZ...

The scar proves nothing, unless it is an interlocking OU. I'm told that is the signature of the surgeon...;)

Hey...you need a little thicker skin...

I looked up Soonerstats.com, your friend is not there...here's the disclaimer:

Players with incomplete or no information on a completed roster indicates that the player was not in that season's media guide, the player was on the B/Junior Varsity squad, or that person was part of the team in some unconfirmed capacity.

So he could've been JV and never been listed.

My skin is fine. I was just asking a question of the sooner experts and hopefully someone knew of him or at least followed Tulsa Union high school and knew?

The only Tulsa people I saw listed were Jenks grads...

I'd call B.S. on your friend and see if he says he was a JV or B team player...

He is a big guy with a bad temper. 280lbs. Not sure I want to do that. He is big enough to play qb for kentucky.
