I, like many of you, can get caught without a tissue. What is your prefered method of disposal of a boogey when the option of a tissue is out of the question?

Who uses tissues???

All of the above. I think flick and roll/drop can be combined.

I agree with the roll(to dry a sticky one), it can be combined with either drop or flick, but not the wipe. The roll would ruin any chance of cohesion of a boogey and a hidden surface.

I forgot the option of eating, but that is a practice used by :texan:

dig it out and casually wipe it off on some unsuspecting fool's shirt.

I am talking entry level stuff used in public.

That move is only for professionals. This is a dangerous move for the nonexpert who will hear the faint plink of a the mini blinds from a misguided whiplash fling.

The simple "wipe" is very uncouth. If you "wipe" then you need to "wash." Otherwise you have a crusty layer attached to the epidermis that will come off flaky. This presents problems on several fronts.

I thought this thread was about the use of toilet paper.

What about not picking it and just closing off one nostril, blowing the crap out of the other nostril and let it fly, then wipe with back of hand afterwards???? I know its my personal favorite to watch...ugghhhh

How do you deal with a sneeze that ejects snot from your nose into your hand? You are a polite person covering your mouf and nose, but snot shoots into your hand.

Go!

If one is alone, then the nasal cannon is preferred. Using one digit, close the off-side nostril and use a hearty blast to launch the offending catarrh from your plugged passage.

If you are trapped with snot in your hand, then one's sock is a good repository and also prevents unnecessary abuse of the innocent.

In former days, a sodden hankie would be draped over the rear of a CRT to dry nicely. Alas, in today's flat screen world, this option is no more.

Inner pages of library books are also good resting places for nasal seccreta.

We could go on at length.

I find reaching for the wallet in the opposite back pocket, thus wiping snot in it, is the best way to handle the sneezy snot hand situation
