Probation Has Its Positives

I say this because back in 1957 Auburn won its only title while on probation and in 74 Oklahoma won. Does anyone think that the AP writers of the fifties and seventies would vote for a team on probation today and I mean 1990+?? Auburn went 11-0 in 1993 and received nothing and they were the only undefeated team in the nation with a 1 loss FSU wining the title.
