If you weren't coached by Cale Gundy, who would you like to coach the running backs?
(Bob) Stoops. Coach Stoops. He's a good guy, and he knows how to get along with the players. He can be serious about it, but at the same time, he likes to crack jokes, be a little funny, a little character. Other than that, he takes thing serious. I really like that in a coach.
You're from Conway, S.C. How is Oklahoma different?
The beach. That's about it.
Did you live close to the beach?
Seven or eight minutes. I was there every day.
What do you do in Oklahoma to make up for the beach?
Oh man, That's all it is. That's what I came here for.
Who's your best friend on the team?
Adrian. Last (year), I came on my visit, we kicked it a little bit. I asked him to (let me) move in. So now we're roommates.
What does the public not know about Peterson?
He likes to sing.
What does he sing?
Some of everything. You can catch him every night doing his singing. He sings pretty good.
Who's the worst singer on the team?
Me. I am.
Worse than Garrett Hartley?
Yeah, pretty much. I can't sing at all.
