I have read this board for over a year, and I have found it extremely useful and informative in my attempt to keep up with the Sooners, all the way out here in DC. Im a diehard fan (the only person in DC with a chevy silverado ext cab flying Sooner flags) and would like to stop playing the role of stalker and participate on this board. So, Hello!

Please feel free to disagree, but its difficult to compare the experienced receivers of last year, T-Money and Rankins (who doesn't really count), with the experience of this years team which could go two deep in a four wide set (I'm including Reggie who went to my alma mater). I still think our success last year occured when Kelly and Iglesias started helping T-Money out. Also it sounds like Gresham's presence gives us a nice safety net, he's a mismatch for any defender in the country. So why on Earth does everyone think that the answer to shutting down our offense is to put eight or nine guys in the box to stop AD?!?!?

Welcome, and because, just like VY before last season started, no one thinks ENA can pass!

Or sarcastic and mean-spirited...

...one of the two...

Greetings,

I live in Northern VA and originally from NE OK (Miami = Steve Owens). Been here 10 years (after Army retirement) and lucky enough to get to watch almost all of the games on ESPN Game Plan.

I'm going to be in DC during the ISU game. Any good bars where Sooners convene for watching the games?

There is an all OU bar in Arlington, VA. I did ESPN Gameplan last year but I've heard this place is a great place to watch OU football. I'll let you know if I get anymore details on it.
