Jason Whitlock :twinkies: (KC's answer to Robert Allen) lists his AP top 25 vote and reasons behind it:

He really thinks the Big 12 is stacked.

Uh, ok. He says Tebow dethrones Leak?

I don't think so. He also thinks the nd D will be what the O is, NO way. They'll be better, they almost have to be.

He's an idiot, but probably right about #1 where he says, "schedule, schedule, schedule." West Virginia has a weak schedule.

It used to be that the BCS rewarded tough schedules and penalized pansie West Virginia schedules.

Heh. That's funny. After you wrote that, I went back and saw that #11 wasn't there. Stinkin HTML. :D

I don't see what's wrong with his list. It's about like most others since we lost Rhett. Besides, he makes great points on WVU. They don't play anyone and they are returning the stars who marched up and down the field against Georgia. One game schedule against Louisville.

It's there. It's just nested in #10's paragraph.

We could field OUr defense ONLY, no offense whatsoever...and beat 5 of those teams.

What a lot of people don't realize about WVU, or fail to realize, is that WVU is......WVU!!!!!!!!!!! Have they ever contended for a NC in the last 10...15 years? Yeah, yeah, they've got an easy schedule....on paper; but what it boils down to is, WVU will stumble along the way, either to Louisville or Pitt or Maryland. I know Maryland is not a perennial "powerhouse", but they do put a few NFL guys in every year and you can count on Maryland to do some damage to a team in the national spotlight every year.

I have to say that the NCAA and BCS should re-evaluate their stance on strength of schedule and place some emphasis on it. It's stupid to think that a 12-0 OU team or an 11-1 Miami team or a 11-1 tOsu team or any number of other big conf schools with 0-even 2 losses wouldn't kick Patty White's arse all over the field. Yes, I know UGA got whipped last year, but WVU was somewhat like the "unknown" team out there that no one paid any attention to; well, now everyone knows about them and they will have a target on their back this year. I have confidence they'll lose at least 1 game if not 2 or 3.

The honeymoon is over WVU.

Now that I see that OU at #11 was hidden inside the #10 paragraph I take back my claim that he's an idiot. Unfortunately I agree with his #1 pick because of schedule.

This moron just proved anyone can predict a Top 25 regardless of how stupid the picks are.

I love how Fatlock said "When you lose Bush, Leinart, etc, you can't crack MY top 5."

Ooooooooooooooooo Fatlock, the world reknowned college football prognosticator.
