I thought it was 4. And in 2 of those he played less than a full half.

Also, which team has the most talent on offense? Both play in BCS conferences but one team has recruited far better...... including on the offensive line.

TEAM A
YEAR (Total YPG) (Rushing YPG)
2000.....468............255
2001.....443........... 186
2002.....389........... 157
2003.....375........... 212
2004.... 409........... 172
2005.... 501............194

OR
TEAM B
2000.....417............129
2001.... 357........... 115
2002.... 393........... 191
2003.... 439........... 146
2004.... 462............208
2005.... 356........... 178

ANY guesses on the two teams?

Indeed, Jason started only 4 games prior to '03. Had a good game against Baylor, hurt in 2nd quarter at Nebraska. Had a bad game at Tulsa, hurt on an option against Alabama.

as for the question, I know Team B is Oklahoma. I wanna say Team A is Texas.

Jason had one decent complete game start before he won the Heisman in 2003 and that was against Baylor. I'm just sayin'......

Right on team B. Team A does have some pertinence to OU, though.

I bet Team A is USC.

Nope. Team A plays in a conference that is known for strong defenses.....which isn't the PAC 10.

Northwestern

Ding, ding, ding! 2000 and 2001 was when Wilson was their offensive coordnator. And we see what the Cats did in 2005 when our current OL coach was coaching there.

And these numbers were put up despite the NU defense giving up over 30 points per game(except '03 & '04 when they gave up 25.1 and 28.5 points respectively) meaning NU had limited touches on the ball because their defense couldn't ever get it back for them.

Pretty amazing stuff, really.

Northwestern has averaged 431 yards per game for this decade. If OU's offense gets anywhere near that average this year and with our defense the Sooners are in a BCS game or the national title game.

I think it's very encouraging. I think OU has a lot more talent than Northwestern did. Yes, we've had some attrition at at OL but you can't tell me the talent we currently have is below the talent at NU.
