What are some good websites for online medical research?

I have a buddy that has challenged me to figure out her stomach condition. She will only tell me the symptoms, but wont tell me the name so i told her i was going to find it somehow.

Oh, oh! I want to play. And my mom will too. She always beat Marcus Welby, m.D. to the correct diagnosis.

I like www.emedicine.com. There's lots of good ones, but it may be hard to find one that searches by symptoms only. Usually I know the name of the disease I'm looking up.

Showoff! :P
It's just cause the patient tells him in the history what they've been diagnosed with and he needs to look it up.:D

Hey doc. Check out cauda equina syndrome. That sucka can be very costly to your insurance carrier if left undiagnosed and treated in one of your patients.;)

I've heard of it. I usually ask about it's symptoms, if necessary. :texan:
