There's a reason Chizik left Auburn for a lateral position at Texas. Big time schools and conferences don't lose coaches to lateral positions.

We play at least one team in a major conference every year. Auburn can't say that (LA-Monroe, LA-Lafayette, and The Citidel). In the next couple of years, we'll be playing Miami and Florida St.

When you start to get an inclination that you might know what you're talking about, come back and see us.

So you're saying you play two real games a year. I am impressed!LOL!!! So, you need 8 cupcake games in between. Try playing against teams in league that consistantly has between 5 and 8 ranked teams a year and also puts more teams into bowls in one year thatn your conference usually does in two or three.

I'm saying that it is two more real games a year than Auburn. You should be impressed.

You need to quit buying into the SEC hype. Their post season record is no better than anyone else's and, in most cases, not as good.

It still makes me laugh my *** off at you bunch of overrated media darlings. REMEMBER THEY ARE THE ONLY REASON YOU WENT TO THAT GAME. And all that tough competition you play in your league week in and week out (LOL!!!) sure had y'all prepared for that game.

This coming from a guy who's conference was not able to fill all their bowl slots last year and OOC schedule that includes Buffalo, Tulane, and Arkansas State. The only thing you can say is at least they stayed away from D-II this year although Buffalo would struggle there.

You would have had your asses handed to you, too. Hell, had it not been for a wide open VaTech receiver dropping a sure TD pass, you would have lost to a lesser team. Hell, statistically, they beat you up and down the field.

And can you admit that your beloved Tigers also got spanked last year by a middle-of-the-road-Big-Ten-#15-ranked Wisconsin team, in a year that the Big 10 conference overall was down?

While you are chewing on that consider that us lowly Sooners went to a bowl and beat the Pac-10 runner-up and #6 team in the nation in what was a down year for us.

Y'all playing The Citadel was a major reason that you had no chance at the Orange Bowl. That is your own fault (the athletic department and administration that can't seem to find someone who isn't "interim"). There's a reason that Bowling Green decided to come play us that season instead of y'all (which ultimately killed your SOS). It's called "tradition", which you can also find just up the road in Tuscaloosa. I can understand why you're bitter. You have the best season in Auburn history and have nothing to show for it. The story of Auburn football...a lot of talk, but still lacking in the trophy case. Enjoy that 1957 championship because that's probably the only one Auburn will ever have. It is kind of funny how this is considered the best period in Auburn football. Didn't take much to declare that.

This Aubie guy should really come back for a little while. He can explain how Clownahan should have beaten his team solely based on athletic prowess, had Slash not quardafocked it up by going for the gut on trick plays that didn't work. Oh, yeah... When we played Nebraska, we were one turnover away from winning by 21 or 28 points, if you give us the blocked kick for TD. Funny how OU can do that when they're surrounded by a heavy Husker favored crowd, in the bitter cold, Abubie had time to show up, gather fans, and perfect weather, and what do they do? They get lucky like damn near every other SEC team.
