I have finally switched to Firefox.


How come you morons never told me how great it is?


I never realized that my avatar is in warp speed on Firefox. No wonder you people never take me seriously.

That's actually not why.

Firefox is great for most things. I use it 95% of the time. Unfortunately there are still a lot of web sites that don't test with Firefox and a lot of sites use activex which Firefox doesn't like. So basically for personal stuff, I use Firefox. For a lot of business stuff I still have to use IE.

Once you add some extensions, Firefox really becomes more useful.
some that I have right now-

CLICK!,BBcode Xtra,FlashGot, Adblock,ForecastFox,Stumbleupon,Wordpress sidebar,Gmail notifier,FasterFox.

Then there are the themes....try PimpZilla. :D

Well Linux/open source ******-*******s are often called Penguins, since the penguin is the Linux mascot/logo. Mozilla Firefox is open source.

It does have downfalls too. Yes, your penguin is racing now. I've also noticed that some links people post for pictures don't show up. All in all, I still like it better than IE.

when i first joined the board i assumed he was a Linux geek :)

i hadn't thought about it lately... this is pretty funny to find out now

online just about any reference i see about penguins is Linux geek related

One note, I tried an extension called Deepest Sender(live journal for blogs)IT SUCKED-don't try it.
One that doesn't suck is Performancing, when installed..it puts a button at the bottom of your status bar that once you click on it, log in..you can post from within Firefox.
Kinda nifty..if you like that sorta thing.
