His abs have deep caverns. He might have to check those for sanitary reasons

I have a friend that is a huge NFL fan but doesn't watch college football (yeah, he's weird...but he's from New Mexico, that explains it). Of course I brag about AD all the time and show him videos of what he will be seeing in the NFL in a year or two. He seems to think that AD will NOT be a great NFL RB because he runs too upright and he will take a beating  .

I will keep quiet for now, but once AD starts running over people in the NFL, I am going to rip my buddy a new one. :texan:

I seem to remember this guy running pretty straight up too.... seems like he had a pretty good pro career... even though he had to take a pay cut when he left SMU.

I think your buddy needs to make an opinion of his own instead of just repeating what he hears on T.V

Only one team in your league has a defense (Texas) so you definitely shouldn't have any problems. Bring him to the SEC and play a full league schedule and see what his numbers would look like.

WTH, there is only one major conference that doesn't play defense and that is the PAC10. SECaubie, get over it. You're confernce is good but the best conference changes from year to year.

There is no Question that the Big12 had the best conference in 2000 and 2001. We had a pretty good conference in 2003 but not great. And we had down years, conference wise, in 2003 - 2005.

Yes, you have had good years but give our conference the respect it deserves. Two National Championships and four appearances in the championship game in five years speaks well for our conference.

Thats because of the lack of good, hell even decent teams in your league. Oklahoma and Texas are the only two teams in your conference worth a damn. So which ever of the two of you win that game has a damn good shot at going undefeated. Unlike the SEC where there are 8 schools that could beat anyone on any given Saturday which is usually the case. That is why I think it will be a very long time before anyone in the SEC wins another NC.

When Auburn quits schedulling pansies for their non-con games (LA-Monroe, LA-Lafayette, and The Citidel), come back and talk with us.

Our league is good enough that we don't normally have to bring in outside talent unlike the BIG 12.

Gandalf_The_Grey

Auburn gets owned by Wisconsin in their bowl game
Georgia gets owned by West Virginia
Alabama owns Tech
Florida owns Iowa(however questionable call and fact game is close count against Florida)
Missouri owns South Carolina
LSU saves the SEC from total embarrassment

Let's see your conference champ couldn't beat the weakest BCS conference. Auburn couldn't beat an average Big 10 team. South Carolina couldn't beat a pretty bad Missouri team from the Big 12. Florida who is supposedly the second coming of Jesus barely beat an average Big 10 team....It looks like the Pac-10 is the only conference who didn't get a chance to beat on you boys.
