When SF.com was down a couple of nights ago I was concerned that another Bomar-type situation had occurred so I was looking elsewhere for info. I went to hornfans and ran across this thread. Pretty interesting thoughts regarding our shellacking of aTm.

We should have tried to score again after the Jolly dance. Then kicked an onside kick and tried to score again. Then kicked another onside kick and tried to score again.

It was cruel and unusual. :(

Jason White's Third Knee

This was a great line:

"Stoops did everything to make A&M feel better but hand out orange slices after the game."

Jason White's Third Knee

Another good one:

" jolly and co. were on the sidelines after a 49-0 halftime. fran called in the 12th man troops and they limited OU to a 28-0 second half. aggy 12th man should be feared for squeezing and limiting OU to only 28 second half points."

If you knew nothing about football and you watched that game...you would have sworn we played a bad high school team that day.

*** kick supreme.

watching the second half of that video is making me pretty excited for Paul Thompson. He was having a great time out there, of course it was a blowout. But still

Don't make the mistake of getting pumped up about PT because of what he did in that game. Get pumped up about him for other things, but not that game.

Good lord, it wasn't even the 4th Qt yet. Taking a knee on 1st and goal, that was the *** whippin of all *** whippins. Could have easily scored 105.

I heard Bobby Jack on the post game show saying Stoops called for the offense to run a "fullback belly", one of the coaches fired back "coach we don't have a fullback bellY", Stoops responded, "I don't care, lay one on 'em anyway.".

mike stoops called all of the offensive plays after 77-0. that's where the fullback dive came from...

The best part was going over to their boards after the game. They showed no resentment towards us at all. They just kept talking about how bad they sucked. I mean, what else could they do? They were even laughing about it.

I remember losing to Nebraska during the blake years and I was ****ed because they were doing their best to run the score up.

Gave our boys a false sense of how good they were, and they were soft when crunch time came around at the end of the year.
Maybe they did have a false sense of how good they were - No doubt about it - they were GOOD - A VERY GOOD BALL TEAM. Who really knows what happened with that bunch - I think that K.State had a great game plan for them, and LSU was a good game against an equally as good of a team, if not better.

But Soft? Nope. I wouldn't call them soft. Even after what I witnessed in KC and NO.

My first post- like it or not.

I still say, if Jason doesn't get broken in Kansas City, we hoist the crystal ball in New Orleans. I mean, even with a gimpy quarterback with bum knees, toe, wrist, spleen, medulla oblongata, and God only knows what else, we were ONE overthrown pass away from sending that game to overtime.

Damn it. :(

Remember the outrage when Stoops didn't put in Thompson for the injured White ;)

Hey, all I'm sayin' is, we should have either put in ENA or made them install wheelchair ramps on the Superdome field so Jason could keep playing...

Word.

I wonder how much better PT's confidence is for 2005 if he'd at least made an appearance in that game.

You really can't understand the magnitude of that ***-whipping unless you watched it. The game was not nearly as close as the score indicates.

I still like 65-13 and 63-14 better.

somebody needs to make a video (like the one you posted) and flash the score after every touchdown. You know--- clayton runs in, 7-0. Kejuan Jones somehow drives it in again, 77-0. Then, show Fran--- Simpsons's Nelson says "ha ha!"

the end.

me.....not as much. It was a horrible loss, but they were way better.

Losing when you are supposed to doesn't hurt as bad as 15-15.

or 6-6

I don't think a Stoops team ever expects to lose to anyone.
