I got my membership renewal stuff in the mail yesterday.
Here is something you should know if you are on the fence about joining OHS.
Effective Sept 1, the OHS will offer additional benefits to its members. At that time, a new schedule for OHS membership dues will be added and they are going up.
If you join before Sept 1st, you can lock-in for your whole family at 40.00 or for yourself as an individual at only 20.00. Memberships are great gifts too.

Right now, here's what you get with more stuff being added this year:
- Monthly issue of "Mistletoe Leaves," the society's 8 page full color newletter that will keep you up on history related happenings all over the state.
- Quarterly issues of the scholarly "Chronicles of Oklahoma" the OHS historical journal packed full of cool articles about our state's history.
- voting for OHS board of directors
- special invites to history-related events
- Free admission to any and all OHS sites including the fantastic new state history museum in OKC. A visit could easily be worked into a home game weekend.
- 10% discount at the museum gift shops which have a great selection of books BTW.
- the knowledge that you are helping preserve OUr state's history.
