While I was working out, I saw on the SC ticker that Evridge has decided to transfer, which is the third QB to leave since the spring. Apparently this QB defection thing is contagious......OU, then Nebraska, now K-State. I knew everyone wanted to be like us.... :)

well, our QB didn't exactly "defect".

True - I was trying to come up with a better word. Feel free to improve. :)

This is really weird. I haven't talked to anyone about it in the last few days, but many of the Kstate fans up here have been very upbeat. They think Prince is walking in as the second coming of Bill Snider. But they really seem delusional.

Maybe Prince is trying to toughen up his QB's, and they can't handle the heat. We have lost several linemen like Mo Dampeer in recent years that weren't tough enough for the program.

The excuse given is that they won't get playing time. But unless they are complete idiots they should be able to look at OU as an example of what could happen. If Grady had kept his grades up and stuck around he would be the starting QB on Sept. 2. Now he's a back up at Utah.

I think it's good for KSU. Evridge sucked as a QB as did Webb.
