I was wondering if we could form a committee to try and reinstate Thunder?

Granted.......he may have gone somewhat overboard and hopefully I'm hoping there is an aura of forgiveness on the board to bring him back.

I'm admitting I don't know the entire story. Maybe he was warned by the mods on several occassions. Maybe Thunder was going through a difficult period in his life and wasn't able to comply at the time he was baned.

It seems he has been gone since March. Maybe if it was possible to check in with him and see how he is doing and get him back.......that would be a good thing.

I know if I was going through a dark and difficult period I would hope for some forgiveness down the road. Maybe he doesn't want to come back but the guy was a solid staple on this board and maybe.......yes......he went too far at that moment in time.

Jesus talks about the ability to forgive and I know He says to forgive abundantly. God knows I need forgiveness on a daily basis.

Anyway.......regardless of Thunders difficult period most of you here know he really is a good and decent guy and maybe he should be given another chance.

Just my two cents. I know there are some here not willing to forgive and there are some here that are.......even maybe the mods.

What do you think?

You know what makes me giggle? Fans from other schools coming on SOONERFANS.COM and telling us how to run our board.

The guy had more chances than anyone else has ever gotten. He deserved what he got.

Also......I'm a Sooner fan. Granted I'm an LSU fan first but OU has and always will be my second favorite team.

Does that mean since OU isn't my number 1 team I should shut up and leave?

If that's the general consensus......then I'll go.

yeah and MAYBE he's just a ****ing *******. I wouldn't even vote for him to come back even if it was only long enough for him to apologize (fat chance of that). People have to deserve forgiveness to be forgiven.

I don't give a crap what he may have been going through or how much you think he deserves to come back. you admitedly don't know the story, so in my opinion you should shut the hell up.

He had his chances, knew what he was doing, and took it like a man. Why should we let him back?

Dude got banned every other week for, like, a year.

That rough patch lasted hella long, but so has Maurice Clarett's.

i personally got tired of the guy calling me (and others) "gay" on hoops game threads. it never made any sense in context.

edit: and frankly, i thought he and I had developed some rapport about golf.

i always got the impression it was him against the world....he seemed to take on anybody and everybody.....never understood that

It really was very pretty...it was struck well and it just stayed right in line with the flag the whole way.

My wife got me a sweet plaque for the scorecard and the ball.
