their building is kinda cool... been to a few weddings there. nice church wedding without the church ;)

There is some of that, but they have a fests throughout the year, including the uber-excellent Oktoberfest, and the clubhouse has a bar and weinkeller!:D

Yes, lederhosen are required for men at the bar on the third Friday of each month. Ladies have to wear those scooped-neckline blouses with the "St Paulie Girl" leather bustier ;)

Note to self: Order lederhosen and bavarian hat with little brushy thingy in the hatband.

Hitler was Austrian and therefore a poseur-German.

I'm of East Prussian descent (Silesia or Schlesien) to be precise. We do that pickelhaulbe thing with the spikey helmets.
