View Full Version : The horror that is Monday Night Raw
I'm so glad I hurried home from work so I could enjoy Jerry Lawler's moose knuckle in all its glory.
Gah.

Well, there's always the replay of the USA China Ball game. WE're only up by 40.
yeah, but Bill f'n Walton is calling the game. What's Mandarin for "excruciating", anyway?

The Diva Search is the worst thing ever. They will hire all 8 of them anyway. Milena does look like she could actually fight, which would be weird to have a diva who can actually wrestle. Since they are phasing out Victoria and Lita
yeah, as much as I like barely intelligible scattered *ss, the Diva Search makes my soul die each week. I can't believe they did away with Tough Enough and kept this crap.
I still *heart* Christy Hemme, tho.

TNA is the NEW FACE of Tough Enough!!
Dude, TNA is, like, cobbled together out of crap that was too lame to be on WCW Thursday Night Thunder.

Yeah which is actually pretty funny. Seeing as I believe A.J. Styles is going to be the next big superstar. They have like maybe 6 guys that are worth anyone's time, Petey Williams, Samoa Joe, Chris Sabin, Sonjayy Dutt, Abyss(Kane/Mankind ripoff), Christopher Daniels and the most awesom thing is that in order to get over their Rhino/Steiner matches they hardly ever get these guys enough air time :P

I think the team speaks Cantonese. But I'm splitting hairs.
I still *heart* Christy Hemme, tho.
where has that fine @$$ gone?? ... it makes me an unhappy :chicken: ... when they take away the "talent" ;)

she went to the old people's home to interview the likes of Steiner, Jarrett, and Sting....aka TNA.
Somehow I'm glad I was too freakin tired to see anything other than the Cena shoot and match against Viscera...especially in light of having to be up at 4am this morning for work.
Awww, but you missed Vince giving Trips a Shane-assised Pedigree after Uuuuuuuuumaga finished decimating him...then almost fall off the ropes trying to climb to the second turnbuckle to mock his son-in-law. :D

Is it bad that when Vince got up there..I was secretly hoping he would pull a Sid Vicious while jumping off the ropes and no more Vince in ring EVAR again!

yes and I missed the beginning of the show so i am sad that I didn't get to see how many cack jokes Trips made about Vincent Kennedy McMahon. :D
Vince DOES love cack. I like how quickly they made a DX "Vince Loves C*ck" shirt. :D
And what cracked me up was how quickly the production team switched cameras to the one on Shane once they realized that Vinnie Mac was having a little difficulty in scaling the turnbuckles. ;)

But, did it top the whole theme music thing of two weeks ago? :D

so is that what happened to him?? ... i was always curious where he went ... i mean hell ... he was the master ... the ruler ... of the world ... maybe he should have worked on becoming a master of climbing turnbuckles

and now that the cack is here, Vince will probably be reading this thread ;)

No his problem wasn't climbing the turnbuckles...it was getting back down ;) He jumped off to kick Steiner in the face and he broke his leg in half...very gruesome!!! I wish someone would kick Steiner in the face now!

Sid was always brittle, that's why nobody wanted him halfway through the 90s.

Is it just me or is ECW ALOT more enjoyable than Raw or Smackdown :P

To be fair, CM Punk is better than anyone on TNA not named Sabin, Styles, or Joe(not counting Dudley's and Road Dogg and Billy Gunn because TNA doesn't use them much :P) Dreamer and Sandman are usually good in small doses and Kurt Angle is never bad!
ECW has the parts to be worthwhile, but they got off to a horrible start. Now that they've hopefully stopped having a main event of "Big Slow versus random Raw or Smackdown main eventer" and are actually, you know, focusing on building ECW feuds and angles, it'll get better.

Like sands through the hourglass.......
Heh
Dude, if Days of our Lives had more beer-swilling dudes who bust themselves open before the match even starts by bashing a beer can into his forehead and then goes on to whip the ever-loving sh*t out of a dude who is dating an stripper (but forbids her to strip) with a Singapore cane...well, then I'd be one Days of our Lives-watching motherf*cker. :D

I can't believe you people aren't givin' more love to TNA . . . TNA is what dorked up professional wrasslin' is all about.
If you pay close attention you'll see story lines from the 80's. :D

I remember watchin' WCW when that happened . . .
(if'n it's the same video I'm thinkin' of - since youtube is blocked I can't tell) :D
i doubt WCW played "Monster Mash" for it though ;)

You would be suprised what the WCW would and wouldn't do ;)

8/9/2006, 03:09 PM
I mean, only Sid Vicious would think it was a good idea to jump from the top rope and land on one leg . . . very awkwardly I might add.

8/9/2006, 03:28 PM
Well actually the WCW was pressuring him to add some higher flying moves against his will. I know he sued them, don't know if he won though!
