A group of us are going to the MU game this year in Columbia. This our first trip there for a game and need some advise on where to tailgate. We are looking for somewhere that has space for the usual stuff like a tent, grill, ect. If anyone has been, please point us in the right direction. Also are there any specific rules regarding minor things like no bottles.

Thanks

Just a few blocks from the stadium is a very large parking lot with RV's and folks tail gating. I don't know which direction is actually is, but only a few blocks and within sight of stadium. I am sure you would need to arrive on Friday or early Sat. morning to secure a spot. Maybe a pay lot I don't remember. You might earth google on the stadium and you might see what I am talking about.

I believe the SF.com tailgate will be there in some capacity.

Last time the sf.com tailgate was in a parking lot just east of the stadium I believe. Northeast of the stadium was where a lot of the kids hung out, drinking and playing "cornhole".

Campus is pretty scenic so I'd suggest wandering up that way...north/northeast of the stadium. They're pretty proud of some columns on what would be their north oval.
