View Full Version : My local Wendy's doesn't understand the concept of substitution

So I likes me a spicy chicken sandwhich from time to time. I usually substitute a salad for fries in the combo to be healthier. Anyway, my local Wendy's continually gives me fries and a salad. It doesn't seem like it should be that hard of a concept to figure out.

another concept wendy's doesn't understand:

no mayonnaise, add mustard

either that or their mustard looks just like mayonnaise

my wife likes the bun that the bacon classic comes on, but doesnt want the bacon.....so normally she'll order the "big bacon classic, without the bacon"

talk about throwing a fast food worker a serious curveball.......normally they look back at the manager as if we've just said "yes a hamburger with dead body parts on it"

My lady likes the two cheese burger meal from mc d's, since they dont have a two hamburger meal, she will order this w/o cheese. the look of confusion is priceless.

I tried to order "half a dozen biscuits" from McDonald's or Carl's Jr. once. They said "sorry, you can only buy 1, 6 or 12"

You should have ordered 1, 6 and 12 then...

Then go...

Wow! I had no idea you could order 19...

I don't think I've ever sucsessfully ordered a burger minus mayo at Braums. I'll usually wind up with either tons of extra mayo gooped on or a chicken sandwich.

(Mayo shouldn't be standard on burgers anyways)

my last couple trips to Braum's have been notable for the half inch think under-ripe somewwhat yellowy tomato slice dwarfing the beef pattie.

I usually just try to get it minus everything but onions and pickles. If you're lucky enough to actually get that if you order it, it's pretty decent.

It's fast food guys. They're not getting paid 100k a year. Check your freakin order before you leave.

My order was right, they just insist on giving me extra food.

So what's the problem?

I'm trying to eat less fries.
